When you have to use your pensions and if you haven’t got much in savings then you could find retirement a struggle. This is what a group of pensioners find out, each with a different set of circumstances but all wanting something more than just the mundane!
The place they find themselves is a long way from home, leave Britain and turn right! What they had in mind is not what they find when they arrive, but soon will find more than they could ever have bargained for.
It fills your senses with sight and sound, making you feel as of you are in India. It’s a love story, a comedy, coming of age, drama and more. There are times you’ll be laughing out loud and others when you hold back a tear.
The film has a wonderful cast of established actors, Bill Nighy, Judi Dench, Dev Patel, Maggie Smith, Tom Wilkinson, to name but a few.
If you fancy a feel good movie then this is the one for you. A great way to beat the winter blues.
