Tangled
Tangled is Disney’s 50th animated feature, it’s based on the story of Rapunzel with a new humorous take on the classic story.
Rapunzel (Mandy Moore) has no idea that she is really a princess, her Mother keeps her locked up in a tower and tells her how dangerous the outside world is, so she is scared to leave. Her only friend is a Chameleon called Pascal. As she approaches her 18th birthday she feels the need to explore whats out there with or without the consent of her Mother.
Flynn Rider (Zachary Levi) is wanted throughout the kingdom as he is a thief and stolen the Princess’s crown. As he runs from his accomplices and the Royal guards he stumbles across the tower which holds Rapunzel. He climbs up to be greeted with a frying pan!
Rapunzel soon makes a deal with Flynn so that he will become her guide to take her to the town where the Flying lanterns can be seen every year on her birthday. This is when the adventure begins.
This animation is beautiful shot, and there is comedy throughout for all the family. It had the adults and children in tears of laughter. Pascal the Chameleon does not talk but his facial expressions are fantastic. Another hilarious character is Maximus the Horse who is chasing Flynn’s trail and will not give up until he is caught. Every detail is well thought through and the result is a wonderful family movie, another great success from Disney.
This is a FAB rated movie.
